Spectator Viewing Location: Runners begin indoors at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Spectators will view runners prior to the race from the second floor. Once runners have left the PREMIER Center, fans will be allowed onto arena floor.
PLAN AHEAD - Dress in layers and bring warm, wind-resistant clothing for in the morning. In the afternoon the temperature is likely to climb. You will be thankful for your layers as the day goes on.
COMMUNICATE - Make the most of race day by planning ahead to find your friends along the course and at the finish line. Be specific about your location, this will help runners find you as well. Give as much detail about your location as you can: “Outside the 605 Running Company store at 124 S. Phillips Avenue” is much more helpful than “somewhere on Philips Avenue.”
CHEER - Everyone likes to be encouraged on race day! Cheer on other runners. Don't forget to bring cowbells, thunder sticks, balloons, and signs!
KNOW THE ROUTE - Help runners have a successful race by staying clear of course boundaries. This means don't cross the course, and stay on the curb or sidewalks. Most importantly, listen to the law enforcement and respect volunteers’ boundaries.
